Pulled out the boat taxi.

Winter is near. Freezing temps for the past week and no sign of letting up. I pulled the boat taxi out today and had to break a bit of ice near my dock and launch ramp. I will service the boat and shrink wrap it tomorrow. I am going to install some nice options in the taxi in the spring,a wash down pump and a cell phone booster. Be sure to watch this blog in April for ice out predictions.

New Service

Rainy Lake Boat Taxi is pleased to announce the purchase of a new tool to help our customers. I have just purchased a Portable Winch. This small gas powered winch is capable of pulling over 2000 lbs. The Portable Winch can be used the remove logs and fallen trees from your property. Also pulling boats and docks out of the water. Do you have some big rocks on the beach or by the dock,no problem for the Portable Winch.  Call or E Mail RLBT for a estimate on cleaning up your property.

Fall is here

Well the summer is coming to a end and fall is here. Many of the summer residence have left and only a few remain. The Boat Taxi staff are still busy closing cabins and doing some maintenance for another couple of weekends. The big yellow taxi will be doing some scheduled runs in October and will remain in the water as long as possible. Most likely till the 15th of November. 

We would like to thank our many new customers this summer. The first year was incredible for us as we met many new friends. We are anticipating a busy next season. Keep an eye on the  blog close to spring for lake updates and ice out predictions.

I am just getting going on my blog. I would like to thank everyone who has told me the this lake is in need of a taxi service. This has been a dream of mine for many years to provide boat transportation and do various types of lake work. The website sums up my services quite well. I promise I will do my best for my customers and keep the rates reasonable.
